The Case: Nancy travels to St. Louis to visit her old friend Maya and attend the premier of a new blockbuster movie, “Vanishing Destiny,” at the Royal Palladium Theater. The historic theater is scheduled for demolition in just 3 days and Maya is covering the controversial story. But when Maya is kidnapped just before her big interview with the movie’s leading man, Brady Armstrong, Nancy’s night out at the movies turns into a nightmare. She’s convinced that the kidnapper is hiding Maya in the mysterious theater in a desperate attempt to halt the demolition, but no one believes her! Nancy must juggle her efforts between searching for her friend, proving to the police that Maya is really in the theater, and finding a way to stop the demolition. It’s not long before Nancy begins to unravel the tangled history of the theater’s ownership, a web of secret deals and betrayals surrounding Harry Houdini, the world’s greatest escape artist. Nancy Drew 06: Secret of the Scarlet Hand

Between cases, Nancy Drew has taken an internship as Deputy Curator at the Beech Hill Museum in Washington, D.C. Nancy soon discovers she will be doing more than learning about ancient Maya artifacts—there have been a series of thefts and the only clue left behind in a mysterious scarlet handprint! As Nancy digs deeper into seemingly unrelated thefts, the know ledge she gains about the Maya culture makes her realize that she may have unearthed a larger plot.

The Case: You, as Nancy Drew, have taken on a summer intern position as Deputy Curator at the Beech Hill Museum in Washington, D.C. The museum specializes in ancient Maya culture and has just won a heated bidding war for the rights to borrow and display a strange Maya monolith recently excavated in Guatemala. While preparing for the exhibit Nancy learns about Maya culture and artifacts. When a thief nabs a prized piece from the museum, Nancy realizes that the missing artifacts may have more in common than just the thief’s signature scarlet handprint! Nancy’s investigation will take her outside the museum walls and into the U.S. Capitol where she meets characters at the Mexican Consulate, visits a hospital and takes the D.C. subway. Will Nancy be able to put the pieces of this ancient puzzle together? Or will the mystery remain entombed forever?

Nancy Drew 07: Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake

Locals say that the dogs have come back from the grave to protect the secrets of their master, who died long ago and was buried next to his beloved dogs. Players must use their detective skills to track the history of Mike Malone, the notorious gangster who once lived in the lakeside cabin recently purchased by Nancy’s friend. Are the ghostly legends true, or is there a flesh and blood answer to the dogs’ haunting howls? To solve the case Nancy ventures into the deep, dark woods surrounding the lake. Like a bird dog hot on a scent, she hunts down the history of Moon Lake and its residents in search of clues. Along the way she meets a variety of fascinating characters, all with something to hide.

Nancy Drew 08: The Haunted Carousel

The merry-go-round at Captain’s Cove seems to have a mind of its own. Late at night, when the park is deserted, it takes off on a bizarre riderless journey. Will you be able to unravel the mysterious happenings surrounding this beautiful antique carousel?

The Case: Nancy is invited to the New Jersey shore to investigate a series of micarps at the Captain’s Cove Amusement Park. First, the lead horse was stolen from the carousel. Then the roller coaster suddenly lost power, resulting in a serious accident. Now the merry-go-round is mysteriously starting up in the middle of the night. The amusement park is closed while the insurance company looks into the roller coaster accident. Nancy begins her own investigation by interviewing park employees, including office manager Joy Trent; chief engineer Ingrid Corey; security officer Harlan Bishop, and Elliot Chen, the park’s art director. As her search unfolds, Nancy learns about the lonely craftsman who carved the carousel horses, and about the sad history of the park’s former owner, Daryl Trent. Before he died he hid puzzles and riddles throughout the park to reunite his daughter Joy with her past.
